Games against the Flames are the Stanley Cup up there, from the organizational lead media to Oilers execs. To lose a game they thought they had a fluke of winning, to play a game the next night, again at home against a far away eastern conference team, there’s no juice.

Only reason there won’t be a jersey toss is back to back home games (thank goodness the Flames don’t do this) is that all the fans who care enough and go to enough games to be fed up, were there last night. Use the tier one joke or whatever, but two games in two nights, most who went last night aren’t there tonight, especially given the opponent and, like the Dome, a lot of kids there on Sunday games.
