Flames starting to run away with it.

Good thing Parsons was strong in the first. Gave the Flames time to build momentum.

And all is swell in the world. The Flames rout is on and the Oilers look bad.

I was actually expecting more from Skinner. There was a lot of buzz around him after his trade to swift current.

Oilers coaches: "s**t, this isn't looking too good. Are we allowed to dress McDavid for the 3rd?"

I liked Stuart Skinner in the WHL, was sad when the grease drafted him, as he'll likely never get a proper development now.

Who made that fantastic backcheck on the PK to create the turnover before Christiansen's goal?

Was it Dube?

Do the Oilers have any other decent prospects than Bouchard?

They look awful top to bottom.

Rookies? Looking good.
Pucko players? Not so much. Poor form. Need seasoning.

Dont care enough to follow their prospects on a regular basis.

I will say though I was keen on Ryan McLeod at this years draft. After that...I think Kirill Maksimov is supposed to have some talent.

but they're Oilers now, doubt they have an NHL career.

Agreed.

Funny that Yamamoto was thought to be good enough to be mcdavid's rw last year, hasn't been all that noticeable at all.

He hasn't been terrible. The first shot and the break away were terrific shots that picked the corners.

Kylington is still making very odd decisions. He may end up a Flame...but I have a feeling that I'm going to worry whenever he's on the ice. A la later-years Phaneuf.
