How do you all feel about removing cats nails, so they don't rip up your furniture?

Way worse than circumcision. Seriously inhumane.

People asked why no one was weight in from the other side, this is why. This isn't a discussion, it is an opportunity to spew vitriol. I am not sure why there is so much anger in this thread. Other than Silver I have not seen one poster who is cut state they wish they were not.

None of us "Cut" fellows have weighed in, because we're all to busy dry humping sand paper, for that nice callused look, thank goodness we can't feel it.
This is the one rhetoric that always gets me, "It doesn't feel as good for circumcised guys". Really? Is it then safe to say that the 30+% of women out there who say they've never experienced an orgasm are likely banging the hooded brethren, you know, since it feels so much better for them.

I go quick enough as it is. If I was uncut I would be creaming my pants all day long... It would be exhausting.

All I can think is if I lost some feeling, thank goodness for that! I thought I was quick on the draw in my late teens as it is. Apparently if I hadn’t been snipped my time would have been cut in half!

The key is to think about baseball during fun time. It helps reduce uncorking too fast.

Pretty astonishing to see some posters telling others what they should & shouldn't do with their own child(ren). The ones stating "their body, their choice" leads me to believe they might not have kids of their own because my child at two years old really wanted to eat a felt pen so i suppose i shouldn't have stopped him?....right?
Butchered? Mutilated? It's one or two incisions with no stitches followed by three to four days of polysporin application and then the penis is healed. I wanted my boys to look like me as I did my father while my wife also encouraged the procedure since she too has a preference to the "look" so we did it and I don't believe we should be vilified for it. I had been taught it's easier to keep clean and it seems logical to do it right away so it is less traumatic for the child. I certainly don't remember the procedure but do recall the bad experience i had having my tonsils removed at age eleven and neither one of my boys at ages 9 & 12 recall their circumcision.
We teach our children daily on what's important, how to behalf toward others, we must eat our vegetables, proper sleep habits, that school is important and finally to become independent so if my sons have sons of their own, they can decide life choices for themselves.

Over 100 male deaths a year in the US due to complications during this unnecessary procedure. These boys died because their parents wanted them to have a better looking penis. Think about that.

Not trying to vilify you or make you feel evil for something. Most parents are just trying their hardest to make the best choices for their children. You seem to be no different!
This reasoning has always struck me as a bit weird though. I have never contemplated my dads penis, nor worried about my sons needing to look like mine. Your wife having a preference to the look of her sons penis is also a bit strange, and may very well have little bearing on your sons future partners preferences.

I don't know about you but as a cut man when I have an erection the skin is really tight and can cause me pain if I don't have sufficient lube. Not so bad during actual sex, but I cannot masturbate without it. I feel as though I shouldn't really have to explain why that extra skin would've stopped this from happening.

There are much stats in the antivax world. 117 deaths a year is not true.

It is perhaps a little disingenuous to refer to these as "estimates". These are observations showing 1 death in 566,000 circumcisions (Speert), no deaths in 100,000 boys (Wiswell). Similarly, King reported no deaths in 500,000 circumcisions. So if we use 1 in 500,000 as a reasonable estimate, we would expect 2.6 deaths in 1.3 million circumcisions. Bollinger's errors have led him to a figure some 45 times greater than that which can be extrapolated from actual statistics!

FYI on your super stats. More then 5800 people died from drinking water, 450 from falling out of bed, 120 from falling icicles, 30 from ants, 13 from vending machines, 150 from falling coconuts, and 43 from hot tap water.
Quoting deaths occurring because of malpractice in a very simple surgical procedure is asinine just like those above stats would be asinine to be used in an arguement to not drink water or leave the house.
2 million people die a year from contracting malaria from mosquito bites, the apocalypse is nigh!

Thanks for the clarification. I have never suffered through the same experience and find it unremarkable that many others would be confused by your anecdote.
This is in line with my overall impression of this thread: so many of the arguments are fuelled by a lot of emotion, indignation, and hyperbole.

I prefer women with no labia minora showing, maybe we should start doing labiaplasty on women so they're more ascetically pleasing. It's a relatively harmless procedure for girls to have.

How could anyone disagree with that logic.
