I would be surprised if Treliving signs both of those players as I expect if Ryan doesn't go to the Flames he may pad his offer to a guy like Maroon.

Have this sense with Treliving then yes there will be an “expected” signing, maybe that’s Ryan in this case, but also someone else maybe a little less likely of having been talked about signing here.
Because he does work in secrecy, he’s always good for a plot twist. It could be someone like Perron or Neal who has had some chatter, or someone totally unexpected, and being parade Marshall at the Stampede in 5 days was enough to convince JT.

Also,interesting that Lebrun hasn’t tweeted anything about anyone for 12h. Again, he’s doing that because he’s protecting his contacts as agents, players and team execs not to betray confidence.

Neal has scored at a 28 goal pace for the last 4 season. Part of me is like "#### it, go sign him to a 6 x 6, and if he sucks we can probably use a compliance buy out on him after the next lock out"

Say we do land Neal at 6x6. Whats left in 19/20 for Tkachuk given that 17 of the available 24 m in cap this year will likely be chewed up on Lindholm, Hanifin and a hypothetical Neal.

Meh, Brouwer can go and then Frolik could likely be traded too, I guess.

Only real meat to sign in 19/20 would be Tkachuk, Bennett, Lazar

Neal will be 31 come September. No way do you sign him to a 6 year deal
