Lucky not to be 3-1 with that giveaway. Predators look like crap.

But they were slow clean shots. A decent goalie stops those all day long. They never made him move (not that they hit the net, like you said). There was no chaos in front of the net, no decent screen, no one timers. The shots too keep all day.

Eh, it's a power play. They didn't make him move immediately before the shot, but the umbrella inherently causes a goalie to play in the blue throughout, and there's plenty of room for pucks to get by clean or obviously to leak through... or sit in the crease for a rebound. I'll take those shots all day if you're offering them. If I'm Laviolette right now I want everything on goal or into the crease at least. Hellebuyck is playing well; get them dirty. But hit the net. Fiala misses again a second ago and it's all the way back down the ice, pressure off. If you're going to try to pick a corner at least shoot short side.

I was about to say "this power play is much better" and then it totally fell apart on them.

It was a cross check that set up a goal, by preventing the Pred from collecting the puck.

And you forget the fact that Stastny got away with a hook on Watson's arm preventing a good scoring chance.
