But they would also be the only franchise that has never lost a playoff game so wouldn't that make every other team a bunch of losers?

Vegas just does everything quick. Fast passes, fast positioning, one touch passes.

Quick looking stellar.

This series will be a good battle of starting goalies. Fleury looks dialed in as well.

This is what I want from the Flames.

Marchessault has an edge to him, chopping Doughty on the laces early and then crosschecking an unsuspecting Brown after the play.

watching the Vegas-LA game .... the Flames are not even close to this level of play. Those who said the 'window' has cracked open for the Flames, really missed the mark with our roster.

I was trying to find the number of games of playoff experience the Knights have but I had no luck. Does anybody know?

What is there 4 active goalies who have won the Cup and two of them are playing in this series (Murray and Crawford being the others)? Actually, 6... It's easy to forgot Niemi and Ward are Cup winners.

Seinfeld is playing at Caesars? Cool. I didn't know he still did stand-up.

It has nothing to do with the roster, it's coaching.

The Vegas roster is an expansion team for crying out loud, they are the rejects of 30 other teams!

What makes them good is coaching.

I wouldn't trade Gaudreau for anyone on Vegas.

I wouldn't trade Monahan for anyone on Vegas.

I wouldn't trade Hamilton for anyone on Vegas.

I wouldn't trade Brodie for anyone on Vegas.

I'd trade Gulutzan for Gallant in a heartbeat.

Coaching makes a big difference, the Knights and Penguins are perfect examples of this.

If you have a good coach, you have a good team, regardless of being an expansion team or a Stanley Cuo Champion.

If you have a bad coach, it doesn't matter how good your roster is.

Do you think his routine would be funny today? I imagine its one expensive show.

While I agree with most of your post, coaching doesn’t make the Penguins their two generational talents do.

You wouldn't trade Brodie for William Karlsson?

He had 43 goals and 78 points this season and is 24 years old.

There are a handful of players on that roster for which I would trade Brodie.

Theodore
Karlsson
Neal
Marchessault

Possibly Miller and Tuch.

I mostly agree...but they wouldn't trade anyone on their roster for Stajan or Brouwer. They have more forward depth for sure

That being said Calgary can and has played with and even beaten both these teams....just no consistency which could also be on the coach but players too. Vegas also has absolutely no pressure, must be nice.

Kings cant solve the Knights tonight. Super close game but without Quick L.A. would be sunk.

Prepare to be disappointed when a new coaching staff arrives and this team remains on the bubble. This season revealed some roster problems. You are kidding yourself if you think its just coaching. Nevertheless, it isn't even clear that the coach will be gone next year ....

Like em or not, the Kings usually provide for a good playoff series. LA - Vegas looks like it will be a good one !

Yeah that seemed like a five minute penalty. Gio and Hamonic got kicked out for less.
