Yes I know there are some strange coaching decisions, but it is not the coach out there on the ice, consistently missing the net with their shots, or letting their man go free.

Yep even the best players on the best teams make mistakes. Ultimately the mistakes individuals make have little bearing over 82 games (It's not like Frolik's terrible gaffe against Vegas will be the reason the Flames miss the playoffs). The best coaches get the most out of their rosters. The Sharks roster is very pedestrian but they have played better than the Flames. The Ducks have been crippled by injuries and have no business even being in the playoff race but here they are. An expansion team of castoff players is leading the division. An aging Kings team that's missed the playoffs for consecutive seasons has played better under a new coach. The Flames are the one team of the bunch who's roster is not meeting or exceeding expectations. I don't think anyone can argue with that and that's why the bullseye is on the head of the coach.
