You probably watch every game like I do. All I'm saying is that he's had many, and I mean MANY opportunities in the front of the net this month and either couldn't the stick on the puck, couldn't get a shot off or missed everything. He's better than that. Early in the year he was sniping everything in front. We need that back.
I also think the first line with Johnny, Chucky and Janko/Mony could be amazing. Maybe we'll get to see it eventually.

Yeah that looked bad. Not making excuses but is it mitigated by Staal being on his way down and so his head was around hip level? I’d like to see it again. Maybe that makes it worse. IDK

The fact he's getting chances just means he's a little cold. All goalscorers go through this. Look at Kucherov.

Looked like Emelin kept his elbow tucked. His skates were off the ice, however, it's complicated by the fact that Staal was in the process of stopping, and had put himself in essentially a sitting position by the time Emelin was making contact

It was the fact that Emelin followed through with full force, drove and squashed Staal's head into the boards, not to mention Emelin is a dirty puke anyway.
