Stone and Kulak were terrible this game...I don't get people piling on Brodie tonight

Mcdavid looked like such a poor sport. Cried to the refs 3 different times including when ot finished and he could no longer get a penalty. Then points for them to “go upstairs” sarcastically after his shootout goal. What a horrible attitude from their “captain”.

I don't know what that is but he should not be in full time NHL as of yet. Dude is losing his confidence and can do nothing except falling down

The next practice the team have should be solely on breakways and power play. Preferably with a new PP coach.

I'd prefer the PP was a little better.
The last break really killed this team's mojo. Let's hope this next break gives them time to breathe, relax and get their confidence back.

Took your shot at Monahan first. Now Bennett. I eagerly anticipate the the next slight to a Flame you dislike. Hamilton's been pretty good of late I bet that upsets you because I know you don't like him as well.

Bennett has his moments where he's a legit threat, but they're few and far between lately. A lot of his success comes from individual plays too, and not so much working off of his line mates.
I think a prime target would be Grabner.

The worst part for me was the blatant and embarrassing play-by-play. Basically gasping every time the Oilers touched the puck, and waxing each other's carrots when the Oilers scored a goal. And the dude defending the Oilers cancelled OT goal - that was just . . . special.
Doesn't Sportsnet have any control over the homerism of the play-by-play teams? Can't they slap their hands, or in the Oilers case, take away their catnip?

I don't think Gulutzan is getting fired any time soon, but when he does get fired, I'll bet he's the only coach in team history to never get a win against the Oilers.

Him and Janko look like ass since the break, and they haven't gotten a point since then either. Too much sun in Mexico. Or thinking after the Tampa game that it was rainbows and unicorns.

He probably should have been booted. The OT disallow was a bit ticky tacky, but we've had goals called back for less this year. He did clearly knock his blocker and stick.

I just witnessed a PP goal. By the LV Knights. I didn't know what I was watching as I usually only watch the Flames games. Power play goals....WHO KNEW!

Points are never a bad thing. If the nyr can keep SJ from getting points and wpg can knock off Anaheim then I am totally alright heading into the all star break.
