For $12.5 million I wouldn't take McDavid on my team. Vegas is a perfect example of depth with no superstars. Is McDavid good? Sure. Is he two good players good? Not with his defensive play.

Looking at their protected list, they didn't protect Jack Johnson. I think it might be him they made the deal for since they had to go the 7F3D route because of the 3 NMC. Kind of sucks for Columbus that Johnson wants out now.
