Since his horrendous start of 0G + 0A through 15GP, Sam Bennett has 1G + 5A in 10GP. If he can put the start to this season behind him, these last 10GP are something to build off of.
Thats a good way to look at it

I think since put together that line has looked good and have been unfortunate hitting a lot of goal posts or close misses on good opportunities. No surprise it's starting to turn around as eventually the bounces are going to go your way when you keep plugging away and doing the right things.

I can recall at least 4 posts in the last 3 games together . A couple inches and that line would be getting a lot of praise right now!

One thing I found interesting was that Bennett and Jankowski took turns centering the line. I wonder if there was any method to their deployment...
It was great to see the team do so well last night. I can enjoy some trade talk and debate about what player should or shouldn't be here but its just so much nicer seeing the team win and not being angry or wanting to see change for change's sake.
(I reserve the right to change this opinion after the game tomorrow pending the result)

if he does that same clip average over the next 5 10 game segments it would give him 6 G 30 A with 7 games left and he looks poised to start scoring more for sure. Good signs.

I thought last night was maybe Bennett's best game of the season - top 3 without a doubt. Also, they were saying on the postgame on the FAN something about GG calling the last 10 game segment (before last night) the 2nd best of his career. It's coming - he's starting to move in the right direction. A little puck luck and this line is off to the races.
Also, for Jankowski, he is now on a 24 goal pace (over 82 games), despite getting 3rd line minutes, zero PP time, and being 'anchored by Bennett' (other peoples' opinion).

10-15 goals for Jankowski would be perfect this season. Next season is when I will be expecting him to become a much bigger part of the team.
Source says they saw none other than Gaudreau, Jankowski and Hathaway eating brunch at Red's Diner this morning.
Poor Janko was really hungover. His teammates must have bought him a lot of beers last night for that 2 goal performance. The other two were gleefully teasing him as he was picking away at his eggs.
It was at this point when Hathaway grabbed a copy of The Sun and to the delight of everyone within earshot except Janko, read this article out loud. Probably did everyone's voice's too.
Of course, it was by a great storyteller in Odland, whose style seems very inspired from Johnson's.
If the coach has anything to say about it, Mark Jankowski may find himself a permanent spot in the Calgary Flames dressing room.
But the 23-year-old centreman might not need an apartment just yet.
“We like to keep him hungry, so we’re going to let him stay at the hotel for a while,” deadpanned Flames head coach Glen Gulutzan, following Thursday’s 3-0 victory over the Arizona Coyotes.
In actuality, after (another) two-goal performance — two incredible highlight-reel markers that gave the home side its’ 14th victory of the 2017-18 campaign — the answer couldn’t be more clear.
Even the boss couldn’t keep a straight face.
“I can tell you right now,” Gulutzan said.
“I’ve watched enough young players, I don’t see him going anywhere. I think he’ll be here for a while.”
