Not in the same context, as far as sulking and the like Sven did after his initial 5 game stretch, just that Sam started out hot in his rookie year and likely figured everything would come easy, and then since that season it hasn’t been nearly as easy, and any number of reasons for that, and who knows if some of that is he thinks he’s not been given a fair shake or enough ice etc.
As mentioned though, it’s pretty clear that he felt he was worth more this summer than the Flames did, before settling on the Flames offer so he wouldn’t miss camp.

Just so I’m clear...
A gif I’ve posted a hundred times after every Flames win the past few years, that contains a fully clothed woman celebrating... is now suddenly nsfw?
Anyway, on topic, big thanks to Clever Iggy for hooking my daughter and I up with tickets to tonight’s game. She had a blast and is surely something she’ll remember for a long time. Thanks bud!

I was going to say that GC lags when I cast to my TV but when I watch through PS4 it's fine, but I see you have the same problem via XBOX, so I'm not sure...

There was a fellow from Scotland on Reddit attending his first NHL game tonight. I'm glad he was able to see this game, the back-and-forth affair, a full 5 min of 3v3 OT and into the shootout. The full experience, haha.

Brouwer's stat line is 0G and 2A which is 2 points more than Bennett's "beyond terrible" numbers, despite an abundance of first line PP time. $4.5MM on the fourth line with those numbers is not fine, regardless of effort.

I'm guessing Tkachuk is looking down before his release, fooling the goalie into thinking he's going five hole. He's damn good at it and it's worked twice now! I bet he switches it up next chance he gets in the SO as goalies are gonna be expecting that now.
The boys on Overtime tonight were saying that the Flames have now won 17 of their last 21 games that have gone to OT/shootout. That's ridiculous!

Agreed.
We talk about Bennett but we should probably put some of this on the coaching, or management. Bennett has had to play with scrubs and was saddled with learning to play center which probably hindered his offensive instincts. I remember when they talked about bringing in someone to mentor and help Bennett then they brought in Troy Brouwer; It started off good but from there got progressively worse. Troy Brouwer probably wasn't the right mentor for Bennett's style of play, or any aspect of his game.
The Flames bring in Jagr and talk about Bennett's break out season, then after a few games they move Jagr up to the top line? To make matters worse; you have Johnny during an interview talking about how the top line could benefit from Jagr's knowledge and skills.
No wonder Bennett seems lost and has no confidence. Gaudreau has had Monahan as his sidekick and someone he could build chemistry with. Tkachuk has 2 skilled role models while Bennett has pretty much been left on an island on his own. The Flames have got to do a better job at making sure a young guy like Bennett has the tools and the proper players to succeed.
You have Tkachck in SO's and on the 2nd line while Bennett is stuck on the 3rd line, "That is not to say that Chucky hasn't earned it". Poor Bennett meanwhile has to stand further back in line because he has had to learn 3rd line center role. The Flames should let Bennett play occasionally on the top line, or in the odd SO; At least he can gain some confidence and feel part of the team.
