Repeatedly hearing Sundqvist makes me want to eat a grapefruit.

The puck came from behind the net. He has to be deep to prevent a wraparound.

Doesn't he typically play deep? Like when he was on the Canucks and looked good?

Backlund missed his assignment, but the turnover caused it on that goal. Good replay slow mo on the Blues feed.

Brodie and Tkachuk mixed up their assignments, Brodie chased the guy behind the net and Tkachuk didn't cover what was Brodie's guy leaving him wide open. Maybe it was Backlunds guy but still Hamonics fault on that one

Good first. One bad mistake but it's not the end of the world.

I’m still not sure how I feel about the Hamonic trade.

I feel like this team might have been better off using those assets/cap space to get another top 6 forward and having Brodie/Stone and Kulak/Anderssson as our parings on the back end.

Flames owned the Blues outside of the gaff, keep it up and we win 5-2.

Flames are betting beat up. Monahan, Hamonic, Stone all dinged up.

Not a bad period but the Blues started taking over the 2nd half. They look like the faster team.

Excellent road period for 17 minutes, the last 3 were a little meh. Keep playing like the first half of the period and you'll be good.

Not sure what it takes for the Flames to get a call.

Stone hooked trying to clear the puck at the end there, Hamonic and Monahan both spilled away from the puck, and Gaudreau grabbed while wheeling around with the puck in the offensive zone.

Good road period. The Flames need to pick up the intensity a bit and I think they stand a chance to win.
