It also takes two minutes to find out that he has been right on stuff.
Holy crap, I still don't understand how people don't understand this. He had info on a number of things (Russell extension, Kelly PTO, Hamonic to CGY) before others. Yes, he didn't have all the details 100% - but he did have them before others.
Just because 100% of what he says doesn't come true, doesn't mean it's all BS.
He's been on the Jagr + Flames kick for months. Now all of a sudden we ignore that and just say it's all bunk?
Maybe he's just guessing - but he has had stuff right.

The Flames in on Jagr is probably an indication that some of the Flames' young prospects just aren't ready to make the jump to the NHL yet.

IF...and it's still IF...Jagr signs in Calgary,they are looking for him to play 3rd line minutes.They feel his size helps the team up front.
Gotta feel like Lazar is the odd man out, with Freddie Hamilton filling in as a black ace.

Little late to the party but I'm tingling at the thought of Johnny sharing the ice with jagr. Jagr's presence and guidance alone would make this a wonderful signing

So if this gets done does Jagr play on the 1st PP unit with Johnny and Monny?
Or 2nd unit with Backs and Frolik?
In either case, it certianly would bolster the power play and give a few more looks. Regardless of what you think of Jagr he'd certainly be a weapon on the man advantage.

Versteeg-Bennett-Jagr or Bennett-Jankowski-Jagr.
