Good for the Pens being up, but are we really arguing who's been better the first two games?

Outside one period, the Preds have been dominating and dictating the play and no thanks to Rinne and overall untimely goals they're down 2 games to none.

I'm not sure this whole "they look like they've been there before" argument holds, the only time I saw that was the third period of game 2 and even that was because of Rinne's craptacular rebound control.

Apparently we are.

The Pens have been scoring when it matters most and deserve to be up 2-0.

They've been blocking a lot of shots, getting timely saves and converting at crucial times in the game.

The Preds look frustrated and have been taking a lot of dumb penalties.

The team that's outscored the other 9-4 and is up 2-0 in the series is the one that has been the better team so far.

Were the Ducks the better team in round one through 3 games?

Silly boy.
In every game ever played, the better team always wins.

Drafting and developing a player like that is such gravy when you already have stars. That is how you win a Stanley Cup.

Flames take note.
Yeah, the Flames should take note.

It's not like they drafted Johnny Gaudreau 2 years earlier and 1 round later only to have him skip the AHL entirely after college.

Better take notes on how to find more Gaudreaus from the expert Pittsburgh Penguins.

Right, because that's exactly the sweeping generalization being made. Clearly.
