Do you find Costco gas yields worse efficiency? The last time I got gas there it seemed like I got about 50km less to a tank. I drive the same routes pretty consistently. Maybe it was a fluke.

What's the gas from the reserve like? I always see that it's lower priced.

Currently 110.9 in Taber AB, looks like the CO Op there started a mini gas war, hoping the one in Lethbridge will do the same, although I did just recently fill up

I've always noticed the opposite, that I got better mileage in my V8 sport trac with Costco....It is a top tier fuel afterall.

For nostalgia sake, I remember filling up when I was 16 (or even dirt bikes younger than that) at 42c/L. I had a scooter that cost me like $1.30 to fill. Cars were $20-$25. I remember being grumpy when it went to 60c! It also makes me long for when we were paying something like 85c in 2016? http://www.statcan.gc.ca/tables-tabl...on154a-eng.htm well yes we were

Hard to say because I fill exclusively at costco and have for as long as I've owned this vehicle.

I track my mileage for every single tank and it is usually pretty consistent though and is pretty close to the advertised mileage my vehicle is supposed to get.

You want to screw over people from B.C. even though the current government was not voted in by the people?

Wow, nice.

I figure when there is a big, non-long weekend spike in gas prices, it's so that there is a huge initial outrage, but when they bring the prices down to a level that is still higher than before the spike, people go "at least it's 1.28 now...that was crazy when it was at 1.33"

We’re not screwing them over, they’re screwing us. They deserve what they get.

2 car lineup when you got there and 30 when you left? Stop lollygagging at the pump!

No, we don't deserve that. Mad at the B.C. government, sure I get that. But let's drop the 'they deserve what they get' because our current government was not voted for by the people of this province. We never voted for what's happening right now.

If there was no political support for this they wouldn’t be doing it.

^He says completely ignoring the fact that Horgan ran on the anti-KM platform, didn't get enough seats, and then had to form a coalition.

He was elected into power on the basis of the rules our system follows. There is no illegitimatecy here. The system worked the way it was supposed to work. Horgan ran on stopping the pipeline and so did the greens and between them accumulated the neccessary seats to hold power.

They have a mandate for their stupidity.

When did I ever say there was?

I'm just suggesting maybe saying "#### everyone in BC they deserve this" isn't exactly the most constructive thing to say, because not all 4.8 million people living there voted for this, or are anti-pipeline.

It's on par with saying "#### the US because of Trump". It's not like he won by a landslide in every single state.

You appeared to be responding to V's post that said if there was no political support they wouldn't be doing it and implied he didn't get enough seats to implement his agenda. That response to me at leader seemed like you were saying he didn't have the politics support implement his plans when he does.

Sorry if I misread that.

Saying #### the people of BC though isn't an unreasonable position. Economic Sanctions in general hurt the public more than the people in power yet they are routinely used in diplomacy and can be effective in bringing about change.

I don't disagree with that either. I fully support the government coming out with a wine ban or shutting off the flow to BC, or any other economic measure as a means to an end - as you said it works in diplomacy. That's something that could get shovels in the ground. But just because it works, doesn't mean I think every BC citizen deserves it. Anyone that voted for a party with that platform because of that platform? Sure. The chickens are coming home to roost I guess.

What I don't agree with, is on a personal level, stating that every one in BC is "getting what they deserve".

I have friends and family in BC already seeing repercussions of this. Less work, reduced sales, less expendable income. Not one of them voted for the current government. I highly doubt anyone in Zama or Ft. St. John, who's livelihood relies on resource extraction is happy about the current events. You've got BC residents on this forum holding similar views. Holding a grudge to every one in the province will not get shovels in the ground and continues to widen the BS divide in this country.

It reminds me of some news site comments when Calgary was flooding, saying we "deserved it", or similar comments when Ft. Mac was burning down. Frankly it rather sickens me.
