There are no passengers on that bench, every player is doing all they can. This team is playing relentlessly.

Actually it was Kelly Hrudey who said he would borrow a phrase from Peter Maher and said " you can put it in the bank" when predicting a win with about 1 min left. But Peter always said " you can put it in the win column" whenever the Flames won. So Kelly botched it.

Some of the best hockey I've ever seen the team play.

There's nothing flukey about it.

The next hottest team after the flames is Ottawa with a paltry 5. These flames are smoking!

Injuries are never good buts it's ok to work some other guys into the lineup here and there. Team is playing so well that it should be ok for whoever draws in. We don't want the playoffs to be the first time the team faces injury adversity.
Why do you keep bringing this up? Only you and Oiler fans seem to care about it.

i only got to watch the first period, looks like i missed out on a lot. they are playing with intensity and hunger right now, and look very promising not only this year but also in the years to come too. it is a complete team effort. the past two wins especially have been thorough. we are dictating play and pace now consistently, neither nyi nor mtl had answers for our forecheck, transition, and possession game. i think gulutzan has done an excellent job (and i'm happy to see him adjusting and trying things out still). hope that hamilton and stone recover quickly and smoothly.

Darren Haynes @DarrenWHaynes
Since all-star break, players with more ES goals than Micheal Ferland (8):
10 - Patrick Kane, Patrik Laine
9 - Filip Forsberg, Evander Kane
