Absolutely not! That reffing was still bush league. If we had decent, unbiased officiating on our side, we'd have a top three spot in the division. Even with it being the way it is right now, we're 2 points out of 3rd! I get that we won, but that was still frustrating.

It really is amazing what the addition of Bartkowski and Stone has done to stabilize this team. Allows Engelland to play as a 5/6 with a guy who isn't a giveaway machine and gives Brodie a capable 3/4 partner.

They're like an entirely different team now.

So, this Gulutzan guy is alright I guess. In all seriousness, thank goodness we have a top tier GM. Treliving didn't panic, stuck with his guy and had the patience to see this thing through. I guess it really does take a team awhile to get accustomed to the system. Everyone is playing great, top line clicking and this is the Elliott we were all expecting. Who would've thunk it when we were 5-10-1 to start the year, near the basement, we'd be 2 points out of 3rd in the division.

That Backlund pass...that Brodie backhand...

But really Mr. Ferland the Irrelevant with the big hit on Muzzin, then getting and sniping the puck before Muzzin could get back up was the best part of the game for me.

Awesome game, damn that was exciting, I'm still buzzing.

And this has been mentioned a lot already but isn't it great not noticing the d-men as much as we used to notice Wideman?

They're barely making mistakes out there. And they're all a lot smarter and faster than Wideman.

I honestly didn't notice the bottom 3 d-men tonight. And that's a good thing.
