If you were wondering what this team would look like in the playoffs...that game was pretty much it. Ferland was definitely in playoff mode tonight.

I haven't had the chance to do a gif bomb in a long time, so bear with me.

Every one thinks he was sticking up for his teammate. He was not!!!!!

Right after the faceoff Joshansen gave him a huge crosscheck to the high shoulder neck area. Go watch the replay with the birds eye view.

Johansen gave him a big cross check Bennet threw oneback . Joshansen slashed him back then it was on.

Bennet was not sticking up for any one but himself.

Regardless of why he did it I thought it had the desired effect as Johansen stopped the antics afterwards.

One thing I did notice after the fight is Versteeg took almost every draw with Bennett lined up as the LW. Wonder if he had more than just a few cuts from the fight?
