If you go the junior route you just have to be realistic with your chances when its over. As long as you are honest with your chances - you'll come out fine by playing in the CHL and then Canadian University. A lot of the 'other' activities that you get to do in junior because of the smaller town fame - i.e. charity work and visiting elementary schools really help develop maturity and other skills that you likely won't get at college where hockey is probably the 4th or lower in popularity among the athletes.

Now if you end up puttering around in the ECHL and lose your university money - NCAA is the way to go for sure.

You guys must be new to punting. He suggested the bet, I am keen to do it if somewhat reasonable.

Why would I bet with you 1:1 when I would get +150(likely more) with an online bookie? It's throwing money away. I'm definitely going to have a wager on the game and would be happy to take odds with you that are worse than the bookie, but not taking 1:1.

I am betting they are not gonna "get pumped" meaning you should be giving me goals. Should Canada win or lose a close one they didn't get pumped and you were WRONG

Geez...calm down mate. I posted an opinion saying Canada will get pumped by Sweden(although I hope Canada wins). Dino suggests bet, I agree(I like gambling) and enquire as to reasonable odds.

For what it's worse I am going to have a bet on the game anyway(once odds are released, probably an hour), as when they go up Sweden will most likely be overs. This generally happens as a result of Canadian fans betting with their hearts. I suspect you will see the line decrease within 2-3 hours after it goes up.

Suggested bet $200 if line is > +150.
