Of any fan base to make fun of another team..........Oiler boards should probably not say anything for about 10 years or so.
Fell arse backwards into McDavid or they'd be worse than the Flames.

Number 93 coasted more than he did.
This team is a total tire fire.

This years team has no identity and no confidence. I'm beginning to wonder if the players have lost confidence in Gully and his system.

This teams powerplay looks like my beer league teams powerplay. Not good, and we play in the B league.
The B league.

If Taylor Hall had done that for the oil last year there would be slow-mo replays from multiple angles and two or three "this guy scored" images in the E=NG thread. It's really alarming how fast the tables have turned, but we likely wont have the lottery luck they had. Basically have a 1d6 chance of drafting a large, but otherwise unremarkable [Edit] Centre even if we finish dead last. And the NHL will likely fix it so Vegas wins anyway.

You can't lose confidence if you don't have any to begin with.

Boring-est team in the league. At least they have a team identity now.

Really dislike the Hamilton/Jokipakka pairing recently. In the last 3 games, Hamilton has been a -7 and Jokipakka has been a -5. Both have been turnover machines and haven't created many positive plays. Watching how well Brett Kulak has performed in the same amount of time has made me realize just how bad the other 2 have been. Kulak may quickly see himself as the #3 defensemen if he continues to play as well as he has been.

We're going to get a few more top picks and turn into the oilers not being able to afford them all 😂

Dion has been doing yeoman's work on the pics. Glue gun is brutal. Just a brutal hire. That Conroy hike must have been amazing.
I just don't see how Treliving thought this could go well. Hire a guy who got fired for a crap PP. Hire a Canucks assistant who Hartley's staff pounded out of the playoffs in six.
Keep 30th ranked goalie coach. They have ZERO goals on the powerplay at home. Worse than Keenan.
Brad should tender his resignation.

I wanna slap anyone that tries to say we should fire Treliving.
Look around the league, look at other GM's.
You can't make miracles happen, you do the best with what you can do!
He's made good choices, he's made bad choices but with little term.
He is easily top 10 in the league and you wanna get rid of him?
He's intelligent, he learns from mistakes, he knows what he is doing.
I for one am absolutely stoked we have Treliving for a GM.
It's a process!!!!!!!!!!!
And for coaching, its always a risk no matter who the hell you hire. They had an idea of the style they wanted to play, GG's systems aren't some new revolutionary attempts at failure.
If they can't play the coaches system then you either adapt or you get replaced. I seriously doubt this team would be great just simply replacing the coach...
A lot of factors are at play.

I try to remain patient until the 20 game mark, but...
15 games played, with 11 points. That ties us with Vancouver for 4th worst.
The three teams beneath us all have 10 points, but Arizona and Carolina have only played 13 games, and Colorado has only played 12.
Flames are doing lousy, and there are few bright spots to be happy about. On top all of this, the games are not fun and exciting to watch either. They seem to be boring themselves to sleep, as having poor third periods seem to show.
I am not sure I can hang on until game 20. My open mind has at best a tiny little sliver open.
These games are not very fun to watch. That makes losing even worse. Of course the draft isn't a very good one this year, so the Flames come out crapping the bed at this point in their rebuild. Something stinks, and it has stunk for the majority of the season with the exception of an odd period here and there.
Gulutzan is safe until after December if this continues though, even if the Flames officially are in last place.
Positives this game - Deryk Engelland and Brett Kulak. Gaudreau gets a couple of greasy goals, and hopefully that gets him going again. Elliott made some nice saves I guess.

Chiasson was a disaster tonight. I think he had two penalties and I think Dallas scored on both.
Whatever the "system" is they are firing the puck in and unable to collect it, while Dallas was very efficient at moving the puck up and out and back to offence.
The Flames tried very hard tonight, but I still think the coaching is really at issue here.

Then you have to blow it all up.
Sure, fire the coach, but you have core players with zero heart. The core has to go.
Treliving also must go. It's his team.

You keep believing in Treliving then bro.
He's an arrogant underachiever. Takes far too long to arrive at the same realizations the average fan does.
All we need is another Brouwer presser talking about patience and everything will be cool.

What a disaster this season has been.
It began with so much hope and promise. This sucks.
