We ended up with 236 in Airdrie. It was pretty busy from 6-8 then it's like everyone just disappeared.

35 in Harvest Hills. I might have been able to hand out more, but I ran out of candy because I was giving 3-4 mini bars to each kid. Should have paced myself better. Ran out ~7:30.

We didn't keep track, I want to say 80-100? Halloween isn't my thing but some of the costumes were amazing.

We shut it down when there was enough candy left for my BF and I to split it without feeling shame.

...I'm kidding, it's a very shameful amount of candy I've been eating.

13 total in Mahogany. I was like wtf? I see nothing but kids in that hood and I was expecting well over 100.

I always give out chips. I think those high sugar products like chocolate and candy are one of the worst things you can give a kid.

Would it be poor form to put out a bowl of candy, hide in the bushes, and then tackle any punks who are dishonest and try to take the whole thing?

Didn't keep an exact count but judging by how much candy we went through I would say we likely got around 150-175 kids come by here in Chestermere.

Finally tally was 56 with 4 full size bars left for me and the girlfriend. Apparently a couple houses a block over were handing out beer and jello shots to the parents. Might go out on my own next year.

I live in Ramsay.

We got 90 in Cranston. It was fairly steady until 8pm with a few stragglers after that. We shut it down at 9.

We had about 140 in Sunalta. Our first Halloween at this place, so we were really surprised that we got that many. I had to run to the store to get more candy.

Probably had about 40 at my place in Bonavista, but there were tons of kids out and about.

Who are these people that take their kids to the mall, anyway? Everyone I talk to agrees it's the biggest loser move a parent can do, yet all the malls are busy with kids trick or treating. Why try to kill such a fun community event by going to Ardene for a pack of skittles from 16-year-old girl that DGAF. Every grown-up giving out candy in my neigbourhood was having a blast, loving the costumes and chit-chatting with the parents. It was so fun.

One of the things I miss about our old community in Calgary is Halloween.

All the houses in the street would have beer or Baileys for the parents. It was a great social time.

~47 in Copperfield. Mostly very young kids, age 5 or less. A couple of teenages after 8 pm.

Now I have hundreds of leftover chocolate bars. What a shame.

We got over 100 in Mahogany. Wife had the house all decorated Halloween with lights so maybe that attracted a few more. Less candy for me.

Probably only around 20 in Mount Pleasant. Seemed to be a bunch of kids around but not many ringing the door bell.

House would have been a jackpot too - candy from us and our basement suite neighbour.
