Ottawa is a winable game.

But so were the first 5 game. So we shall see.

FYI: The Flames have both scored and allowed the most goals in the NHL.

Brian Elliot and Sam Bennett have the same voice...

They are all winnable, we just beat to teams back to back that would be considered tough to win. This team can compete with anyone

It is normal for a team with a new coach and a new system to struggle coming out of the gate. Looks like they are starting to get it and I like our chances to make some noise this year. Beauty effort tonight!

Looks like Brodie is struggling to me. Not playing like his old self and jumping in the play, could be the new system but other D are jumping in. He's fighting the puck and has trouble making tape to tape passes. I could be looking too much into it but to me I see him struggling right now. Thoughts?

Has definitely struggled this year, but I thought he looked fantastic tonight.

Yeah, just a by-product of games played. We're neither the worst in GA/G nor are we even in the top ten for GF/G.

We are possibly seeing Johnny going through exactly what Crosby went through his 2nd-3rd year in the league. He starts getting double teamed and boxed out by every team in the league. That's got to be frustrating and just like "Crying Crosby" did he's now having to adapt his game. Mainly by using his teammates instead of doing it all himself.

But in other more positive news, damn what a great 2 game effort for the Flames. It's not the results that have me excited and hopeful, but the overall play against some good competition.

It's almost like clockwork how everyone seemed to key in and start playing well at the same time. We're seeing the shift between thinking the system and feeling the system right now and this team has come together after facing some adversity early.

Default Flames crush Blues 4-1. Snap 7-game losing streak in St. Louis

How does our PP and PK rank amongst the rest of the league now?

Something's screwy. I can see the around the league report header from Gaskal's user page, but when I click on it, it doesn't come up in the thread. Is it just me? I'd hate to miss out on one of my favourite postgame traditions.

PK - 22nd (75.7%)
PP - 26th (12.1%)

So still pretty ugly but improving

Sam Bennett's play needs to be further discussed.

He has been the Flames best forward the last 3 games.

I hope we can make it to the Playoffs again. That's when ATL reports get really awesome, because everyone is watching.
