Yeah, three 1 hour (and a bit) sessions, two hours apart. 9, 11, and 1, with the third session ending just after 2.
I won't be making it down today, but it looks like Caged Great and Scorpion have it covered.
Here are some thoughts from Saturday:
Saturday's session was a lot higher tempo than Friday's. They also did a lot more game-like drills, and position specific drills.
For the most part, we saw consistent D pairings. In the first group, it was Andersson-Grossmann, Wotherspoon-Hamilton, and Culkin-Bruce. The second group was Brodie-Kulak, Falkovsky-Grigorev, and Engelland-Kylington (or Eggo and Chilly, as Gulutzan calls them). The third group had Gio-Wideman, Kanzig-Morrison, and Dyukov-Hyman-Robak (I don't remember how they paired off, I didn't really notice them at all). I suspect we'll see those pairings on Monday.
They worked a lot on controlled zone entries and exits.
Hathaway really impressed me with his shot. At least 4 times, he threaded a shot through and picked the corner.
Wotherspoon and Hamilton were a solid pairing, as were Brodie and Kulak. Culkin also impressed me with his play. He was really good at breaking up plays and clearing the zone.
I'm not sure what Kravchenko's background is. He was born in California and played in the NCAA, but he must have some fluency in Russian because there were a couple of times I noticed he was translating for Grigoriev.
None of the PTO guys have done anything to impress me. Higgins looked better on Saturday than Friday. Frattin looked better on Friday. Grossmann is just big and slow and seemed a step behind.
