Yeah just watched the ABC highlights and they didn't even review it and the whistle was only about 45 seconds later.
Crazy. I definitely recall the NHL claimed to have reviewed during play and ruled it no goal.
A play that close would require a 5-10 minute review as we know with Bennett's.
Granted I still don't believe it was in, or more importantly, that there is any definitive evidence that shows it was in since that puck was quite a bit more in the air and also moving very fast.
Still, it should have been reviewed and obviously was not.

Yeah I don't think it was in either and I also blame the Flames for not noticing and calling for the review.
Even with review I doubt they call it a goal but they've made mistakes before so who knows.
I'm pissed off this was in because I'm a sore loser and #itwasin2004

This fiasco in Washington simply reopens old wounds from last year and 2004. Both goals from Bennett and Gelinas were in! The difference here is that the league doesn't mind either the Capitals or Penguins winning. The Capitals goal being allowed to stand as the winning goal shows that the league screwed the Flames twice. The league is full of feces on this.

Good with the fine. I don't think it was malicious, but you also have to control your actions on the ice.
