Reviewing offsides is such a momentum killer.

Offside coach's challenges are so stupid. That 1/2 second of entry had no bearing on the goal being scored.

I like the rule. I know if Calgary got scored on in game 7 overtime and it was offside, I'd be pissed.

Those are the types of plays that shouldn't be reviewable. If its not apparent to the Human eye at full speed that it was offside then it shouldn't be reviewable

If it's blatant the linesmen will catch it the vast (vast) majority of the time. Yeah they might (will) miss some but it's a game refereed by humans, mistakes will happen.

Yeah, I know. But it looked like his skate he steps down with was still in the air when the puck entered, so he hadn't yet entered. But his back skate was also in the air.

Basically, can you jump into the zone early if the puck enters before you land?

So much action takes place above the ice surface but a skate has to be on the ice to prevent an offside? That's idiotic.

Whoof. Tarasenko is pissed about that one, though who knows why.

I know why. Everyone does.

Let's have everyone hold up at the blueline to 100% make sure the puck carrier gets in first, that sounds super exciting.

Oh, gotcha now. I believe you have to touch down to be in the zone.

I've heard about six "refs you suck" chants between the playoff games I've watched so far.

But... they try.

It's a ####ty situation, but the answer isn't to eliminate coaches challenge. It's to have cameras in better spots.

It's a goal that according to the rules of the game should not have been a goal. I get that the flow interruption is really annoying but I'd rather they actually get the calls right. Officiating in the NHL is terrible, take away as much human error as you can and give the results some integrity.

Hahaha come on you can't just let them push Elliot into the net.

Edit: actually it looks like it was already in past his toe.
