The Oilers can't finish higher than 27th now. Last 7 years:

30th
30th
29th
24th
28th
28th
27/28/29/30

The Oiler players decided to take a holiday on a game day after they had 6 days off. Presumably because they wanted to enjoy the weekend. Pretty curious GAF level on that team.

Here's a funny thought: Schultz has been good for Pittsburgh. They all hate being there so much, as soon as they trade Hall and RNH and so on they're going to be awesome for other teams.

They took a union players day the last time they played their biggest rival in their building? What more do you need to know about that group of losers? Wow.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

McLellan is saying, their Players Association day is scheduled for tomorrow, but in his mind, they took it today/tonight/during the game.

Both, they took 2 in a row apparently. That game falling in the middle was just a minor inconvenience in between partying I think.

Another caller just said they have a lot more talent than the Flames. This is the first time I've listened to CHED. How dumb are these people? I'm two callers in hahahaha.

The disease in the Oiler dressing room starts with the vacancy at captain.

Lets hope it does not ruin McDavid. We still need him for Team Canada!

I think he meant that as a jab at the team, like they took tonight off as well

They've convinced themselves that our defense is worst in the league. The logically jump ropes you have to do to rank their defense over ours is astounding.

The progression of Monahan, Gaudreau, Backlund, Bennett, and even Colborne this year is fairly sizeable. They've all had career years.

Gives hope for next year.
