Yes! There are many things that I hate about the current jersey but this might be my biggest point of contention. Google anything NASCAR and tell me our numbers don't belong pasted on the side of a left-turning Chevy. So bad. The font of the retro jersey is exactly how a hockey jersey should look.

Fun fact, that font is the last remaining element of the black snot donkey jersey. More reason to put it out of its misery IMO.

Here you go. Not sure if I like this template as the bottom looks like a practice jersey IMO. Reminds me of when the Leafs had the same blank space when Reebok first did that big redesign. Also, I couldn't bring myself to add the Adidas stripes up the sides. I'm really hoping they don't do that with NHL teams.

I tend to like almost all of the Flames jerseys because of the Flames logo. The Red/Yellow C makes the away jerseys look nice, while the home jerseys often stand out anyways.

It's nice to know that our logo is excellent and will probably never change. I mean just compare it to the Oilers or Canucks logo.

I'm definitely biased, but the Flaming C has to be up there with the Redwing logo for the best logo in hockey.

Season ticket holders have made a large financial investment in the team and are deserving of being some of the first to see any changes or concepts. Polling them first wouldn't be a slight to other paying fans as I'm sure they wouldn't use only the feedback of those STHs. I think the point being made was there would be a larger, more concentrated, immediate feedback. They could then take that info and move on to whatever the next stage would be.

I don't believe STHs or any fans were polled or privy to the 3rd jersey before it was made public though. Which is a disservice to all fans, really.

All of the "Modernized" retros come off way too McDonalds esque. Either keep the retro design, it works well, or stick to the '04 colors.
