Is there a gif of Johnny's entire OT shift against Nashville somewhere?

Great play shadowing Forsberg. It looked like he was just gliding 90% of the time as well. So effortless against one of the best young players in the league.
Thanks galaxy91122!

Can't believe our leading scorer plays with an intermediate hockey stick. LOL

What's so awesome about Johnny is that teams just can't adjust to him. He's been in the league for 2 seasons now and he's no secret any more.
Teams will be doing video sessions before playing the flames and will show the kinds of things gaudreau can do... Coaches will tell their defensemen to do certain things to try to stop him but he still finds ways to pull off these amazing plays and to create scoring chances out of thin air.
I can only imagine the panic that starts to set in with defensemen when Johnny is carrying the puck up the ice on a 3-on-2.

Freddy Brathwaite was the best imo
Jeff Reese was probably 2nd.

43 assists now. T5th in NHL scoring. 1.01 ppg.
I think 45 assists is looking pretty tame now. Going to up the countdown to 30/50.

Kiprusoff was really underrated for his puck handling. He wasn't ever Brodeur or Turco, but he had excellent communication with his D and he seemed to always put the puck to the open corner.
You can actually see that our D are not used to a goaltender that can stop the puck behind the net. Against the Sharks the other night, Ortio stopped a hard rim around the back wall, and Gio nearly fell over trying to intercept a puck that was never going to get to him.
And on topic, Johnny remains amazing. I've been watching hockey every other night for 13 years, and I've never seen someone play the way he does. Fans who remember the 80s can perhaps disagree.
The kid is an artist.

Only issue is, 8 of our final 13 games are on the road, where he has struggled this season. But saying that, we do play some defensively suspect teams in Winnipeg, Colorado, Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver down this last stretch, so 3-4 multi point nights should see him well on his way.

Hopefully, a couple of games from now, you have to update the title to 40/60/100.

There is a highlight reel in the making one day showing Gaudreau making plays against the best defenders in the game. I swear he has a nice sequence against almost every one of the top rated defenders at one time or another. Which is no slight against them... just satisfying as a Gaudreau fan when "lets see him do that against a real NHL defensman" was at one time a mantra of the hate brigade. Since coming into the league, he's bedazzled the best of them.

So using his home and road scoring rates he's on pace to finish with 3G 4A in the final 5 home games and 1G 4A in the final 8 road games, which would give him 30G 51A in 81GP.
Like you said though, we have some pretty weak teams coming up in the schedule, so it wouldn't surprise me to see Johnny hit the mid-high 80s in points. For instance, he has scored 6 points in his 4 career games vs the Jets.

It would be cool if he settled anywhere above PPG.
Given how well he's played this season, I hope he finishes at least PPG. It would be a little disappointing in the future to look back if he missed out on a PPG season by 1 point or so. PPG seasons are very impressive.
