All 12 forwards between 12:06 and 16:21 ice time tonight. Remove Bollig, and all others have at least 13:10.

Nice to be able to roll out all four lines for the whole game.

NHL Defencemen ES points totals:

Karlsson 29
Klingberg 24
Burns 21
Suter 20
Giordano 20

That is impressive for 2 reasons. First, Gio had a terrible start to the year and is still playing catch up. Second, if we had a decent PP, I have no doubt he'd be amongst the pack chasing Karlsson.

Lets remember that after 22 games, Gio had 6 points and was a -13. In his last 20 games, he has 20 points and is a +8. He is slowly working his way back into the form he was in last season. He just isn't as noticeable at the moment because Brodie is in even better form. Just think with all the attention TJ is getting, it's worth noting that Gio has really upped his game and whilst he isn't quite as the level he was last season, he doesn't need to be because Brodie is helping him out with the heavy lifting from the back end.

Are there are pair of defencemen in the league in better form that Gio and Brodie are in at the moment?

I haven't had problems with Raymond for the past month or so in the games he's played, actually. Bollig and Colborne have been worse.

I only get upset when Hartley puts him on the top 6 or the PP because he is a play killer.

On the fourth line, he adds speed.

I'm sure it's no surprise who the NHL's first star for Wednesday night was.

I hope Hudler has a second half like last year's second half. Can't state how much that would help the team's aspirations this season. I think he could have a lot of fun playing with a monkey-less Bennett. Ferland can continue to be the bulldozer for line 1.

The Win:

Sam Bennett:

Hillers shut out:

All in all, a great game. FLA maile dit in but that's not taking anything away from what Bennett did tonight. That was some serious fracking beastmode man. Fascinating.

Hiller runs with the net for now. Ramo needs the rest. If the team can play like that in front of Hiller the balance of the season favors CGY making a serious push for a playoff spot. We shall see how this road trip goes. It's a bit of a weird one as they have a B2B in CAR then the day after in Dallas.

Didn't see it posted but here is Bennett's postgame interview where the fans give him a cheer loud enough he had to stop answering his question, followed by a "Bennett!" chant.

Keep in mind the audio is just from the microphone, it was super loud in person.

Classic Luon6o!

Great to see Bennett bust the game wide open like that. I love his intensity and he has some really slick moves out there. Landing him at 4th overall was a complete steal.
