The first 7 mins was completely in the Flames zone. It was like Tampa was doing their best globetrotters impression.

Not really, I'm guessing almost all of us moved on the moment he was traded.

I think people are more concerned with your lack of respect and gratitude for our veterans who lost their lives. But I could be wrong, it could be about that Baertschi goal.

I'll take scoreless after the first 15 min of running around.

Obviously a major goaltending problem.

How is this game still tied and not a three goal lead for Tampa?? Yikes.
Better be awake for the second period.

Yeah, by now you'd think Coach Bob would understand that Russell on the PP just doesn't work. The whole powerplay is a disaster, the personnel should be switched up.

Yeah exactly. I thought him and Brodie were pretty good during their time together.

It actually is. No one wanted to be the guy that tried to make a play and got burned. Just a whole lot of chopping the puck up the boards. Everyone doing their best Engelland and Bouma impression in those players' absence.

Since Hartley won't bench the worst D man on the team Wideman and he isn't contributing with offence this season. He should not be on the PP period. All he does is screw it up.

Just took a look at the PP stats. Shockingly, the Flames' PP is 20th in the league. The fact that we're not sitting dead last in that department is astonishing to me.

Positives
-Ramo didn't give up a soft goal and even made some big saves (Stamkos in the slot)
-A few really good chances to score that Bishop made some excellent saves on
-Got significantly better as the period went along
-Defensemen were good at blocking shots and getting pucks up to the forwards.
Negatives
-Worst 10 minutes I think I've ever seen. It's good that they are struggling to score otherwise it would be 3-0
-The forwards were god awful at getting the puck out of the defensive zone. Defenders would pass them the puck at the blue line and it would go back in deep every time. Just brutal.
-Powerplay is still really poor. That shift by Callahan on the TB PK is inexcusable.
-Poor battle for pucks. The Lightning are winning almost every battle.
0-0 on the road. I'll take it.

Is it just me or did Hudler seem really lazy that period? Almost disinterested in making a tough play..

Hudler has not been good at all...he is dragging the first line down. No idea what is happening to him

Well not once did he show a lack of respect or a show of respect, should of been worded things differently, that's the only flaw I see.
Simply pointed out the way in which the government and institutions use the day to influence people to want to fight for "freedom" instead of paying respects to those who ACTUALLY fought for freedom.
Anything the military does these days is...nvm.
Past is the past. Lets focus on some damn hockey and send some positive energy around. Flames got this in the bag!
