With Sportsnet forging an identity away from simply being an arm of (much disliked) Rogers, I'm surprised that they don't see what they have in Leah Hextall. Knowledgeable, engaging, not hard to look at.
Interperiod chatter should be the "Leah Hextall Hockey Showcase", with slick graphics and a theme song. Maybe they are afraid of a potential bump in pay.

Thanks for cursing the team Kelly. 22 seconds after that kiss of death statement. Avs score, he might as well said Ramo has a shutout going. Geez man.
Flames should have been rewarded at least once in that period for all that hard work. But the Avs finished.

I think people would be ecstatic with a 3GAA.

We know.
The search for the new Kipper began even before Kiprusoff stopped playing.
We'll know him when we see him.

4 goals against per game on average, what leway should we be giving any Flames goalie until proven otherwise?

No he didn't stop it, it went through his arm which is why Duchene was able to tap the puck as it sat behind Ramo.
I don't know how Ramo isn't partly to blame for that.

Doesn't Colorado always have a lopsided shot clock? I don't care what the shot clock says, the Flames were by far the better team.

So a goalie has a bad previous game so all goals are his fault? When does that end, does he have to get a shutout to set things back to square?
17 shots, 1 goal on a bad bounce and poor defensive work. Ramo has been great after period 1

So when the Flames block shots they suck because they're getting out-Corsi'ed.
But when the Avs block shots, Corsi means very little?

No, not at all.
Do you think at all he even knew the puck was where it was? Or do you think he actually thought "bah, I got the first one, #### er"

I get it. But until the game ends with less than 4 goals against, nothing else but that matters. Just doesn't matter if hes at fault or not, it's not good enough.

At least half of those Avs shots had to have been imagined.
LA is the most notorious for stat tweaking, though. Wonder if they realize they're hurting Quick's career stats.

Or you can look at the defensive coverage for majority of those 4GAA.
