What an unreal day of news so far. For all the negativity you read about gaming, it truly is an exciting medium, I can't think of any other creative platform that offers such a wide variety of experiences. Looking forward to seeing what Sony has to offer as well.
The downside -- there's almost too much quality, and not enough time to play it all.

Todd Howard was just interviewed by Geoff Keighley. He said that console mods for Fallout 4 will likely be on Xbox One first due to their relationship with Microsoft and similarities to PC architecture, but that they will be bringing that support to PS4 as well.

So basically PS4 players can look forward to a whole boatload of framedrop to 30 fps everytime they step outside a hangar?

But even with the additional horsepower of the PS4, I don't see it being that huge of a deal versus what you can do with the PC.
Still, it's an interesting new development on the console side.

If I was a competitive online gamer on Xbox one, this would really annoy me. People are forced to spend $150 US or play with a disadvantage against the competition. Gee thanks Microsoft.

They get some hate since their games are not the most polished and they have had some downgrade issues but they tend to put out fun games.
