The Flames could have easily lost Game 1 if Hiller didn't make 1 of his 3-4 huge saves. The Flames definitely got better as it went along, but it certainly wasn't a one-sided game IMO.

Just seemed to me that the only line generating those chances was the Sisters' line. Outside of that, our lines 2-4, and all 6 of our defensemen outplayed them by a wide margin.

Absolutely not. I know it's the fan in you speaking here, but that's flat out not true until the last 2 or 3 minutes.

Yeah, thought the Canucks controlled the majority of the play, especially in the first two periods.

Agreed. The only time we seemed to have the edge was for parts of the third and whenever Ferland/Jones were on the ice

I'm gonna be there if there happens to be a game 5,6 or 7. Hoping spearmint Rhino will be carrying it lol. I believe NYNY has a sports bar and just outside that there are betting TV's that should have it. If you find something else, let me know.

Just got back home from the airport. Slept less than 20 hours in total over the past 4 days... Way too excited to try and sleep for two hours now, but I'll try. Wake me up guys!

Go Flames!

Well if it caused the oilers to pass on him, then I'm glad they did.

Bennett's definitely got greatness in him and there's a reason why Cherry is talking about Bennett and not Vancouver's Bo Horvat.

Bennett already looks light year's ahead of Horvat despite this only being Bennett's first year. Horvat is a mediocre prospect that has a chance of becoming decent, while Bennett is a very good prospect that has a shot of becoming a franchise player.

What does this have to do with Bo Horvat? Horvat is going to be a good hockey player--he already is. There's not much controversy where either was drafted, we got the better player in Sam at a much higher draft position.
