Didn't the Kings or another team dress a player, had him play 1 shift and he qualified for the cup ring?
I don't want to get too ahead of myself, but couldn't the Flames do something like that so Gio qualifies...if we get that far? Does a player have to play a certain amount within the season and or playoffs to qualify?
Gio would already qualify as he's played 61 regular season games and I believe the requirement is 41.

This is so badly spelled and written that I think it might be sarcastic but just as an aside...
Lack of sleep mixed with a failed attempt to "multi-task" on my iPhone. The point was, do you really find "Sedin Sisters" that offensive? If so, you are taking it way to seriously.

OMG!!! Get a sense of humour!!! Oh noes! Everything is offensive! Won't someone think of the children. We're you also part of the campaign to change the name of the beer called "albino rhino"?
If you want to be sexist, that's your choice, but it is indeed sexist.

Can we agree not to call them the sisters at least? It's incredibly sexist. They're obviously weird enough guys to make fun of without resorting to that.
.
Lighten up man. Even the NHL made a promo playing on the "sisters" joke.
I do find "Sedin sisters" sexist, as does anyone with a brain. I mean, first of all, it's not particularly funny and incredibly old, so what's the point anyway. But implying that a player is lesser because they're feminine in some way is the very definition of sexism. It's not even debatable. It's exactly the same as Caps fans with their "Cindy Crosby" crowd signs.

The Sedins aren't the players everyone generally thinks they are, at this point. Both are top 20 in scoring (Daniel is top 10), but they no longer produce at even strength. Their production is basically just power play (the Canucks power play is a whole other story to talk about).
What they now do at even strength is prevent the other team from scoring - Henrik Sedin's goals against per 60 minutes at even strength is the lowest on the team. His points / 60 are only 1.68, which would rank 8th among Calgary forwards. So basically, he's generating less offense, but also allowing less offense, with the result that the Canucks still score 53.3% of goals when he's on the ice.
He's basically a shut down forward at even strength, at this stage. The Canucks' top even strength scoring line seems to be their 2nd line, as Bonino and Vrbata are the highest p/60 players on the team at even strength. That's the line Hartley & co. should be focusing on.
^That is the type of discussion I'd personally rather be having than a bunch of dumb crap about how the Canucks are the Swedish Women's Dive Team or whatever.

Will be a tough series without Bouma and Gio and Smiddy and Byron and Diaz and potentially Ramo.
However, their best players are their oldest, and they've also gone thru a long season and are no doubt banged up same as us.
Hopefully our youthfulness equates to faster recovery, and therefore we get the edge over the Canucks.
Lack hasn't been as good as he can be lately, whereas I think Hiller is getting in the zone. He was really strong in the LA game.
I predict a Calgary win, and lots of stress, nerves & brewskies for this guy.
There's been very little update on Bouma, Diaz, and Byron, but I would be honestly surprised if all of them were unavailable for the start of this series. Ramo's injury doesn't seem like much more than a muscle strain, so he could be back by game 1 as well.
Gio and Smid are done for the year, so that's out of the question.
Overall, with nearly a week until the start of the first game this should give them enough time to heal up the bumps and bruises and be relatively healthy.

If the refs bite on the diving, it will lengthen the series to 6 or 7. If they don't, and the Flames can dictate the tempo with their speed, it could be over quickly.
Count on the Canucks to create another goalie controversy. They will go back and forth between Lack and Miller and end up messing with both goalies heads!
