Did you have any sightings of Aaron Ward? That way you and Moneyhands23 could prepare to share a snack.

We're not talking about someone disclosing medical information though, it's just some random sighting from Joe Blow. It's no different than any other speculation from fans. It's not like Bouma disclosed it to the guy and told him not to tell anyone. Seems kind of weird to be cryptic about a random observation, but that's just me.

I bet it's his finger/hand. We don't have a lot of luck with fingers and hands.

I don't think anyone can deduce with any certainty via a random sighting how injured a player is. The term used here was "visibly injured". That to me suggests a prominent injury; arm in a brace, foot in a walking boot, etc. Not having a pop at the poster, but unless it's one of those visible things then it's really difficult to tell what the injury could be. And even if it was I doubt Bouma would be walking outside making the nature of the injury known to the outside world.

I read somewhere it's a wrist injury, but again it was just a random person on the internet claiming it.

Even if he was in a walking boot or had his arm in a sling, that really doesn't tell us anything. We've seen reports of players in a walking boot the morning of a game then playing that night.

What if he had a neck brace on?

Bob Marjanovich on TSN 1040 Vancouver just reported a broken hand for Lance. Out probably 4 weeks minimum.

Not good news.

Broken hand seems weird since it looked like he took the shot in the chest.

Hard to tell, I just rewatched it and it could have hit his hand/wrist, and he certainly seems to be favouring it immediately.

Actually yeah, it definitely looks like its his stomach/side. You can see the puck hit his jersey and the crest fly up.

Nobody else in the media has made a mention of his hand yet.

The host who reported it has some decent connections with local hockey guys here in Vancouver and Bouma of course played junior in Van. I'm not saying it's 100% true, just what what he said.

If anything, MAYBE he dislocated his left shoulder when he fell.

But I don't see the puck hitting him anywhere in the arm/hand area.

That could be right because he was favouring his left side I believe
