I can't believe people are complaining about my post. Would you rather not know anything at all? I wanted to inform everyone that he's visibly injured and it doesn't look good. But if I post more, I'm going against what the Flames choose to disclose. Could a news source find my post and run with it? Maybe, I don't know. Could the Vancouver Canucks start thinking about line matchups in Round 1 if they knew specifics of his injury? Maybe, I don't know.
Did you have any sightings of Aaron Ward? That way you and Moneyhands23 could prepare to share a snack.
We're not talking about someone disclosing medical information though, it's just some random sighting from Joe Blow. It's no different than any other speculation from fans. It's not like Bouma disclosed it to the guy and told him not to tell anyone. Seems kind of weird to be cryptic about a random observation, but that's just me.

I don't think anyone can deduce with any certainty via a random sighting how injured a player is. The term used here was "visibly injured". That to me suggests a prominent injury; arm in a brace, foot in a walking boot, etc. Not having a pop at the poster, but unless it's one of those visible things then it's really difficult to tell what the injury could be. And even if it was I doubt Bouma would be walking outside making the nature of the injury known to the outside world.

Even if he was in a walking boot or had his arm in a sling, that really doesn't tell us anything. We've seen reports of players in a walking boot the morning of a game then playing that night.

Nobody else in the media has made a mention of his hand yet.
The host who reported it has some decent connections with local hockey guys here in Vancouver and Bouma of course played junior in Van. I'm not saying it's 100% true, just what what he said.
