Remember a month ago when Ramo should've been waived and Ortio brought up?

Great game to watch.

Thought Gaudreau played his best game in a while, and Russell and Wideman and Hudler were excellent.

And Brodie was Brodie; doesn't even look like he is trying too hard and performs so well.

If you listen for it, right after Schlemko scores you can hear a guy in the background yelling "Are you kidding me?". Classic.

He'll have to surpass legends like Blake Comeau and Nigel Dawes.

Watched the entire game, then had to take a phone call with 2:50 left in OT. So I pressed pause on my remote. After the 15 minute phone call, I press play and I watch the rest of OT. Then maybe 30 seconds before shootout starts, the box freezes and I miss the entire drama of the shootout and the Schlemko. So mad I didn't watch that live, but so happy for the W.

per Steinberg, Russell's 15 blocked shots tonight in one game is the most since AT LEAST 2004. Could be a NHL record.

The pure delight and amazement of all the players, coaches, and trainers on the bench, is great stuff.

Over 27 minutes for Monahan tonight on the front end of back to backs, had slightly more ice than Brodie. Wow.

Sounds like it was Loubardias on Sportsnet 960's broadcast

Great to see a move like that from a waiver pick-up.
Reminds us all that every player in the NHL has skills. It's mildly annoying how fans at times can get caught up in the habit of saying, "this guy sucks," or, "this guy's a plug," or "he's brutal," etc, but it's all relative. All these guys are world-class.
Really fun to watch.
