monahan really has a proclimity for scoring ugly goals. and i love it. anywhere within 10 feet of the paint the kid pots.

I know I said it earlier but watching Drew shore skating is just beautiful. Stick down always, his half stide crossovers on turn are brilliant. His half steps are as quick as some of the boys full strides.

I wonder who's quicker Shore or Poirier? I bet it has to be a close call.

You have to be in the right place at the right time for those ugly goals and it is refreshing to have a player who finds himself in those places.

Man it doesn't seem real to have a 20 year old centre playing top line minutes, top PP unit minutes, scoring his 23rd goal of the season. Just makes me smile thinking about having him instead of Olli Jokinen.
