Report!?!?!

This from the kid who's chased away Roger Millions, Andrew Walker and the thought of any others who would dare wade in here from sports media?

Really?

And while I'm 'obsessing' on Backs? There are 30 of me doing the same in the trade GlenX thread...?

No way man, not happening, you're Backlund gig is over, it ended a few years ago, but it's definitely over now. Done. No more.

EDIT: Especially when you start of with "I'll assume Backlund wasn't on the score sheet tonight" in a game that you know was 1 - 0 Rangers, that right there proves you simply came in and said "Hey, I'm going to stir **** up about Backlund tonight.

You know who else you can assume wasn't on the scoresheet, buddy? The whole team. The team had zero goals, the tema had zero points, and no, you're boy Backlund didn't get any secret points that we don't know about.
Hahahaha nailed it.

Flamss don't score a goal... "I'll assume Backlund didn't get a point to night!"

That's the kind of genius we're dealing with here.

In fact, Mr. Backund is producing at about the same rate as last year, which I believe everyone thought was pretty darned good.

Where R U has got to be a schtick, no? The Backlund obsession is so over-the-top and goofy there's no way he can be serious.

On the flip-side, AC is the man. Those gifs in the Game Thread were awesome for those of us who only had radio and were stuck working. You rock man!

Probably time to stop, WHereruChrisO'sullivan. Seriously, maybe step away for a bit. You came in for your typical Backlund garbage, but now you're crossing lines.

The #### hitting the fan will continue as long as there's goofs like WRUCOS irrationally trashing Backs & Rowdy irrationally trashing Stajan.

WTF does that have to do with anything? Fans are the worst. Crap reffing happens to every team, having a hissy fit and getting frustrated at them oes you and your team no favors.

It's an aspect of the game you have to be prepared for. It's not always going to be fair.

Better find a way to get 2 points tomorrow. Devils are playing better but Isles are better, so Friday will be tough.

This sudden 3 game streak is feeling a bit like what turned into an 8 gamer...playing well for most part, but not not getting a break or running into a hot team or running into a division leader or team letting guard down for 5 mins and opponent taking advantage of it etc. Suddenly though, as the losses start to accumulate, all those reasons start to sound hollow. And you start to worry about the confidence or pressure on the roster.

7,8,6 shots, by period...not going to get it done.

No Nash, no Lundqvist, no killer instinct from the Flames. Plain and simple they didn't deserve to win. Pack it up and hopefully come out with a better effort tomorrow.

Bit early to panic guys?? Sure 0-2-1 last 3. But 5-4-1 for month of Feb. this is a real tough part of the schedule. Gets way easier after Brier. Let's get out of this road trip 3-3-1 and we will still be okay. We are only 1 point out of the playoffs. It's not over yet.

And let's not forget that we were playing the third place team in the East with 80 points. Stayed in the game 1-0 with some great goaltending despite some awful one sided refereeing. Great experience for a young team to be in the thick of it when most of us were expecting to be 4th from bottom and hunting for McDavid.

I just choose to be a half full guy instead of half empty. Let's play this a game at a time and not jump off the bridge too early.

Given the vitriol on CP lately over single game losses, the personal insults may become unbearable if the team misses out on the playoffs.

So here's hoping the Flames fare better in New Jersey... if not for their sake, at least for CP's sake.

Not a great game. The puck looked like a grenade on flames sticks out there and the rangers were more than willing to jump on it basically every time it left a white jersey

2 things

poirier looked so fast and his forecheck is awesome. definitely needs some time to refine himself. he looks like a great dane puppy out there

i dont want to add to the "#### the refs" posts. I frankly didnt see much cause for getting upset about the lack of powerplays.

I will say though...in the 3rd i was wondering if the camera placement was off because nearly every single ranger rush looked offsides. not one or two, but the VAST majority of breakins looked really suspect. combine that with almost every good flmaes breakin being a whistle made me scratch my head a few times

oh well, on to new jersey

I don't understand how every single member of this forum doesn't have that Backlund hating non contributor on their ignore list yet.

...and if you don't, at least quit quoting his nonsensical garbage.
