Hate to be Charlie Simmer here, but wow the Flames need to start moving their feet. Just a step or two behind almost the whole period. Canucks looked ready to play. Flames, not so much.

Flames actually did a great job in front of Ramo that period, but he still let in a weak one from a low percentage spot.
We had chances from prime real estate, but no finish. Sometimes this team looks like it doesn't know how to score. But if they continue to push they'll get a good bounce soon.

Seriously. He hasn't started in over a month, calm down. It's not like Hiller is a brick wall either.

did you see the goal? He can't be letting in goals like that in the middle of a playoff race

Canucks barely had a scoring chance...did they even?
hopefully the Flames can get an early goal and get their confidence back

It's not like Hiller hasn't let in his share of weak goals too.

My exact words were he isn't a bad goalie.
What he isn't, is better than Hiller.

Oh come on. The period wasn't That bad. The Flames only looked slow after the backbreaker goal. Probably a bit deflated after pushing hard on the offense. Before that they were playing great. And defensively they were sound all 20 minutes, actually.

While I do agree that Hiller is better than Ramo and that Ramo should've had that, Hiller has had his fair share of softies as well. Its always funny to see the "How is this guy in the NHL" comments after one bad goal. Thankfully none of CP influences the roster.

Quickly? There's a small handful of fans here that think he's good and then there's the rest that would rather not see him start in a big game.

Some of the over reactions is these game time threads make it almost unreadable. It's disappointing

On the plus side, Kate Upton looks pretty decent in that warrior outfit in the Game of War commercial.

It's the game thread, people tend to be hard on the goalies.
Still, we've reached the time of the season when the goalies need to be brilliant. And that goes for Hiller as well. "Can't blame the goalie for those goals" is not going to be good enough. "he kept them in the game" isn't going to be good enough - the goalies need to be great.

Well the difference is that Berra saved all his softies for the third period.

Flames vs. Riotville Rioters -- Valentines Day Special
Still have 2 full periods with one of them being our "go to" period. The boys will get this game turned around
