not sure I Lulu changed their design or not. I guess I ultimately like the fabric that the shorts are made out of more than the saxx one I have (maybe my saxx are the lower cost version that have a lower quality fabric)
Sweat doesnt cause pit stains.

Its either your antiperspirant (ingredients in it stain, deodorant typically shouldnt) or bacteria thats living in your pits or you have a health problem and then it could be your sweat.

if you are sweating and are wearing a blue dress shirt with no undershirt - you will likely show pit stains/moisture showing on your shirt.

an undershort can absorb some of the sweat before it hits your dress shirt

I think for the discussion,
pit stains = colored stained area even after a shirt has been washed and not signs of moisture while the shirt is on.

I still swear by me undies being better than SAXX!

shaving does not impact the sweat zone

It impacts getting deodorant or antiperspirant on the skin.
If you got big bush in the pits, it also keeps the sweat there and thats where the bacteria grows that causes stink and pit stains on your clothing. You also might not be washing properly and need to almost shampoo to get the bacteria out if you are really hairy.

Ok so if sweat doesn't cause pit stains then what is that white residue that stains a hat when it gets soaked with sweat in the summer time?

I used to be a saxx guy, but about a year ago I switched to mypakage.

The price point is similar but I find mypakage way better, especially after multiple washes. They hold up incredibly well and come in a few different lines with different materials/patterns.

Check out the website, I recommend them 100%

Electrolytes. They are in your sweat. The water dried out, they are left behind. You can easily wash them out with water. Some people are saltier sweaters than others. Ill get salt residue on all my clothes if I run outside in hot weather for example. I dont get yellow pit stains on my tshirts or dress shirts though because salt doesnt cause yellow stains under your pits. Why dont people who get yellow pit stains also get stains on the backs of their shirts where you also often notice people sweating through? Because the pit stains are caused by antiperspirant chemicals or from bacteria living in the clammy conditions in your pits espcially if youve bushy hair as a home for bacteria.

Can confirm, used to have bad pit stains until switching to natural products. Never had one problem since.

Saxx underwear + Lululemon ABC pants. What a combo.

Also, this is a must for washing anything like Under Armour or other workout clothing that isn't 100% natural fibres.

ABC pants are a whole new conversation but was a huge game changer for me. It is literally like wearing a pair of regular lululemon pants only dressier. Just dont be an idiot like I did and try to iron them to get a dress pant crease.

Good news for those of us that like to free ball it a little bit - saxx now has a loose fit boxer option. Bad news is they are $35 each.

As an aside, the under armour website also has boxer shorts on sale for $17 each, so I ordered myself up 6 pair, and will provide an summary once they arrive.

I have one pair for f Oakley boxers that I love, and they are wearing out, and I have been unable to find more of them on the web or in retail stores

I tried out both and decided I was a Saxx man, Saxx has a layer of fabric on each side to separate balls from leg, where MyPackage has one layer of fabric that loops all the way around the sides and back, which I found uncomfortable as having support on the back was unnecessary and unpleasant. I got the impression that MyPackage is supposed to be like a pushup bra for your junk, having support behind your balls really pushes things out there.

Spent $200 on a weeks worth of Saxx a year or two ago and they hold up really well, no holes and most still look pretty much new. A lot of dough for underwear but no regrets, i feel a caveman when I wear regular boxers now.

Agreed about the MyPakage "pushup" analogy. I find that I can't wear MyPakage when I'm wearing sweatpants because everything is pushed out there. Plus i found that the elastic waistband on Mypakage stretches pretty easily and it gets really loose fitting.

Saxx is still my goto.

I've bought a bunch of pairs and dialed in my favourites

Saxx Quest 2.0 are my favourite - daily driver that I can also be active in.
Saxx Kinetic are really good for full on workout/sports

I've tried a few other Saxx (Vibe, the cotton ones, the pro poly one I think) - major upgrade over Joe Boxer, but I don't like them as much as mypackage).

Mypackage weekday is really good - the waist band is really comfy. I do not like my pair of MyPackage Active Series - somehow just too tight on the gentlemen (I think I did XL, but maybe they are just L). Still prefer to my previous UA compression shorts without a pouch, but a lot worse than Kinetic.

I really like my one pair of MeUndies - favourite fit and material, but no pouch. I think they're coming out with a pouch, so I may have to try them.

I always buy them at least 50% off...my drawer is still probably at least $200+, but I've probably got 15 pair. After about 3 years, I've just finally retired my first pair or two (that would have gotten a ton of use before building the collection). I'm sure I don't need to buy anymore for a long time, but I probably will whenever I see them on sale.

Life is too short to wear bad underwear. Also socks (though my all time favourite Lorpen merino blend no show socks are out of production).

I had a pair of saxx and they were alright, but found regular ole boxer briefs to be suffice in keeping everything held in comfortably. With the saxx sometimes the pouch would kinda feel in the way. Anyone else felt this way?

Saxx Kinetic has been a game changer for yoga, I wear it a size smaller than my other ones and can actually make it through a 75 minute class without making any 'adjustments'.

lately I have been finding that the boxer briefs hold the hammer a little too snugly. I prefer that it get some air and freedom to move around some.
