Will no one stop Obama from defaming all of our most cherished defamations?

I'll leave it as an exercise to the reader to determine how those two mutually-conflicting views could be held by the same person.

It's just a lot of noise from the media, and the Obama administration trying to divert attention away from the increasing amount of Americans pissed off at his domestic and foreign policies.

And this is a typical American leftist response to criticism of Obama.

Read the article at all? Any part about the US Office of Patents & Trademarks? Who runs that again? Oh yeah..
It normally takes a new forum member over a month to become this jaded..

Oh wow. Do you genuinely believe that Obama is personally responsible for running the Patent office?

We all know how Obama fanatics receive criticism of the anointed one. Worse than the stupidity of super patriotic Bush fanatics of last decade. I think the real exercise here is deciphering what "extremists" you're referring to.

1) Obama nominated the lady who runs the Department of Commerce which oversees it.

Therefore,

2) They adhere to his policies.

So why would I presume that it has nothing to do with him?

It's getting really infuriating how much people are rolling over for political correctness.
This is a pet peeve of mine, but this has nothing to do with patents!

This is a trademark case, not a patent case.

Trademark = images
Patent = invention

Successful troll is successful.

Back on topic, the expectation is the NFL and the Washington Professional Football Team will appeal, which will be disappointing and cowardly when they do. The hope, I suppose, is that the NFL doesn't join in the appeal, which is unlikely I think.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think we're going to have to wait for Snyder to die before the name changes.

That's really the only hope, and that his successor won't be as staunch about keeping the name.

And since the Redskins are part of the NFL, and it's owner a part of the board, I don't see why the league would refrain from joining appeal, if it's even necessary.

It comes from stuff like this:

Of course, I laughed at the "subsidize" part.

The Trial Board, before which this case was argued, consists of 21 Federal Judges, appointed to the board by the Commerce Secretary.

source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tradema...d_Appeal_Board

The three particular judges in this case were Peter W. Cataldo, Karen Kuhulke, and Marc A. Bergsman.

source: http://ttabvue.uspto.gov/ttabvue/v?p...ty=CAN&eno=199

Cataldo and Bergsman were appointed in 2006, and Kuhulke in 2005 which make them Bush Administration appointees, you colossal idiot.

Its the same, but 5-10 points higher. 5-10 points is huge.

Do we need to go over definitions again? I know the definition of "same" was pretty tough on you last time, so I would expect you needing a refresher by now.

Well if he's not really strombad, he's a dead ringer for Ezra Levant.

If you're going to make bad guesses, might as well make 'em in pairs, right? No idea how you weren't blocked earlier.

It's not static, there were polls done earlier this year (which I remember since I'm a member of NFL forums too) that showed it over 80% keeping the 'skins name.

To say there's some push for social change is drastically overrating this movement. The only difference today than the 90s and 2000s was the amount of media attention.

This is some really bizarre trolling. Right after the message I posted, I get a PM (which I instantly deleted) from the user strömbad. Must be bored as ####.

Bets on how long Trumbull lasts?

I don't know where people are getting the Strombad comparison from, incidentally.

Yeah this clearly isn't a case where it should come down to a majority vote.

Only 1/3rd of the relevant population finds something offensive. I guess its OK then.

I am guessing the poll on the American Indian Movement forum would be slightly different
