Coleman split up the opening rounds with Roy. Coleman has played in 15 games (including this one). Only allowed in 18 goals.

And they've hit the 30 shot mark about halfway through the 2nd.
Shots are 30-11 Aces.

Which yes, I have actually sunk that low to watch a game at work. Which in my defence, they already had me working unplanned OT until well into the evening so figured this was fair. I could work on one screen, watch on the other.

Cyclones Goalie Rob Madore gets the Kelly Cup MVP. Very deserving, but he doesn't look too happy.

Not a slight on him, but surprising. Coleman had two shutouts in the Finals and the top numbers.
Plus, not sure how many times it happens in the ECHL, but rare to see an MVP on the losing team.

This has crossed my mind too. Rob Murray spent 8 years with Providence in the AHL as apart of their coaching staff, 5 years as an assistant coach and 3 more as head coach. This Championship wraps up his 3rd season in Alaska.
His AHL coaching record is 117-103-20 and has gone 137-52-26 in the ECHL.
I'd say he has earned another shot in the AHL. I would say his player development might be on par too as 7 of the players he coached in Providence were apart of the 2011 Cup winning team in Boston.

Hmm, looking on his Wikipedia page he has a few things Burke and Co. might like:
Quote:
He was at one time the career penalty minute leader in the AHL, but has since been surpassed by Dennis Bonvie; he remains in second place in league history with 2940
|
Quote:
He played most of his career as captain of the American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons. He holds team records in single season penalty minutes (373), career assists (157), penalty minutes (1529), and games (501).
|
Actually I agree, he could be a good candidate. He has a nice playing resume in addition to a good coaching one.
