One of, if not, the most exciting games of the playoffs.

Couple calls that should have been more than 2 minutes.

Good game, though.

The elbow by Spurgeon was pretty bad, what a stupid play to make. Hope he gets a game or two.

Agreed. Bollig hit from behind was just as bad.

yea, Bollig will likely face a game or two as well.
Replay of the Elbow shows it missed, but Spurgeon got the knee out, and that's what caught Kruger. Even more of a reckless play, pretty hard to defend that there was not an intent to injure, when you lead with an elbow, and follow through with a knee.

Minnesota is so much more entertaining than they used to be. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really would love to see Minnesota move on.

St.Paul was always more of a hockey city than Minneapolis. That's why the Wild succeeded and the North Stars failed.

What, pray tell, are you basing this on?

I don't mind the Hawks, but they've won enough already.

Would love to see Minnesota move on. What a collection of young exciting players they have on their roster too.

Granlund (22)
Niederreiter (21)
Coyle (22)
Brodin (20)

....envious.

This is what I've been saying. Minnesota is just going to get better for the next 5-10 years and this is only the beginning since their young guns are just getting in to the league.

Also add Spurgeon and Haula to that list. Zucker still in the minors too.

I can't believe how loud Wild fans are and the building they play in.

The Stars played in suburban Bloomington. That was one of the problems. Owner Green was another.

The idea that this guy, that anyone, for that matter, could move major league hockey from Minnesota, the American home of hockey, is hard to believe. How could that happen? How could anyone let that happen? This is the state that fills a 16,000-seat arena for the state high school tournament, the state that every four years fills out the roster of the U.S. Olympic team, the state that is the land of lakes, for goodness' sake, all of them frozen during the long winter, all with kids learning to skate. Dallas? A team from Minnesota would move, after 26 years of residence, to Dallas?

Would love to see the Wild move forward from here, but really can't see it happening with Bryzgalov between the pipes. Worst goalie of the playoffs, no competition.

Shame really. With a goalie the Wild would really have a chance in this series.

Hate Cooke for all his dirty plays but you can't deny he is a good hockey player and a difference maker.

She's pretty good but I watch the post game show and interviews on NHL Network because of Kathryn Tappen!
