Good lord, that schedule. The Oilers might not win another game this season.

I guess they can look forward to taking advantage of the Canucks death spiral in their final game.

Leafs will need at least 11 points in 8 games to have a shot.

Odds down to 24.6%.

MTL might be only Canadian team in the playoffs. They probably would not be a playoff team in the West.

It's so bad in Edmonton that my oilers fan friend said

"We're actually going to finish 2nd and draft Ekblad!"

Their fans take losses as wins, i'm glad we have not sunk that low.

You think at some point they'd actually want wins more than they want losses.

You would think that wouldn't you? Edmonton where losing is acceptable.

I was trash talking my Oilers friend over text and he said, "oh well #mcdavid2015". Not only do they accept sucking this year, they preemptively accept sucking NEXT YEAR too. Holy carp. Must be PTSD at this point.

'Hawks were pretty lackluster in a game against a spent Dallas team...They got a GIFT PP in the first, and scored late...incidental contact with the goalie after driving the net...no surprise, the ref blowing the call was Tim Peel...Dallas never seemed to be able to catch up from there...The last goal, an ENG for Hossa, was due to a desperation play mistake by Daley and Lehthonen...Stars in full control of the puck behind the net, and Lehthonen bailed for the bench...Daley then tried a stretch bank pass on the boards, but got it too high on the glass...the puck hit a stanchion, and bounced right to Hossa in the high slot.

The 'Hawks DID crush the Stars in the Dot...49-22.

Goals: Shaw, Versteeg, Keith, Hossa...Garbutt x 2...for a 4-2 final.

How would you like to be Anaheim this season?

Trade a 30 goal scorer for a 1st rounder and some good young players/prospects.
Somehow improve offensively and in points %.
Watch that 1st round pick increase up to a top-6 or 7 selection.

Must be nice.
