I disagree on that one. When Colborne, Monahan, Backlund, Brodie all come back with more muscle and time together we'll be better. I find it hard to believe we'll do worse next year, Camalleri is one player.
The success of our team does not ride on his shoulders, as long as Giordano is captain and Hartley is coach they will be busting their asses and earning their spots. There are many players in the system itching for a chance. Someone will step in for any of the young guys if any of them stop earning the right to play, even Monahan's spot isn't secure. I would agree they might regress if the guys were being given spots without earning it but with Hartley at the helm nobody is going to be phoning it in. Too many factors indicating we are on the upswing and the shiny newness of these guys is not why they are working so hard, Giordano as captain and Hartley as coach are why. How many lazy players do we have now? I can't think of any, hell, even Butler is drastically improved.
