Just got home from work...It was busy, so I hadn't been able to follow the game online...happy to see 4-2 'Hawks...

Toews with a save behind CC to preserve the score...

I am getting the TSN feed...but, unlike the last Canuck/'Hawk game that I had to watch the Canadian feed, the announcer doesn't sound depressed that Vancouver is behind!

Damn my slow typing fingers!

The jersey toss will be bigger news than the loss...

Phoenix is now 3 points back of Vancouver for the last playoff spot, but has 2 games in hand.

No worries Scrivens, I'm sure he's had a few beers tonight.

How sweet would it be to see the Canucks miss the playoffs?

I'm assuming they will get in, but it's definitely up in the air at the moment. Go Coyotes!

Vancouver has some really serious problems. They're lack of scoring depth and the fact that their blue line is offensively ######ed is really haunting them now.

They don't look anywhere near a contending team and the playoffs are up in the air.

My hope is that they further gut their bare bones prospect pool to take one final run at the cup.

The Flames are getting a little love on Team 1040, with the guys on the post-game show comparing the efforts from the Canucks and Flames against the Hawks.

Does someone have a gif of the canucks jersey toss? That's a gem I don't want to miss.

Edit: Apparently, it was a Blackhawks fan "framing" Canucks fans for the jersey toss. If true, that is hilarious.

The Canucks are like what the Flames used to be.

Headed for the rebuild but just haven't acknowledged it yet. Soon they will but boy is that a long, dark, inevitable road. Suckers.

Canucks look terrible. The lack of depth is really starting to show especially with all the big minutes some of the forwards have logged early in the year. Daniel has had two shots on net in the past two games. Hasn't scored in 13 games and only once in his last 19 or 20. Nice $7mil investment there.

Love the fact they tied big money into aging / declining players in the Sedins and Burrows. Talk about post apex...

Was that the Dec. 20 game in Chicago? It was also on TSN and both games had Cuthbert doing PBP, Ferraro was colour in last night's game with Johnson in Dec. The Nov. game in Vancouver was on HNIC with Rick Ball and Kelly Hrudey.

I like this OOT with the Sharks/Oilers game being the main game here. Stupid Oilers found a way to win 3-0 even though they were out shot 59-27. Gotta give Scrivens credit with the 59 save SHUTOUT. He stole that game, great goaltending. Loserongo lets 4 goals in the 2nd period as the Canucks lose to the Bhawks 5-2. The Canucks looked like a beached whale, love it when they do that. Saad with 3 points. The Rangers win 2-1 in reg time over the Islanders. Good goaltending by Lundqvist and Nabokov. The game did have that winter feel to it and it was fun to watch. Carcillo with the winner early in the 3rd period.

Also, I will add that any fan who wants Edmonton to finish ahead of Calgary is not a true Flames fan.
My dream scenario is the Oilers finish 2nd last, the Flames finish higher in the standings, and then the Flames win the draft lotto, thus robbing Edmonton of Ekblad, and watching them draft another undersized forward instead.
