Was just thinking the same. Time flies when you're having fun I guess. Best game I've watched in what feels like forever.

Missed the first two periods pulling people out of the ditch.

Read through the whole thread so far but other than the goal didn't have many comments about how the guys are playing. Is it the goaltender holding us in it again or are they playing well?

Mostly playing well, but there have been extended times where Ramo has saved the day.

Actually playing quite well, but Carolina is also pretty terrible. We dominated the 1st and had several great chances but Khudobin was very good. Second was a little more even but Backlund had the PP goal. Flames have played very well defensively and the Carolina commentators have been very complimentary towards Calgary's work ethic.

Did Carolina play a 'Welcome back Westy" tribute video for Westgarth's return to Releigh?

Westgarth with incredible speed beats the defender to the corner and Flames avoid icing

That seems like a lot of empty seats.

I am still shocked than anyone in the Carolinas would know enough to go to a hockey game. Must be flame throwers and jugglers on the ice during intermission, like in Oklahoma City where Edmonton's farm team plays.
