Who has been crap?

It was a penalty yes but as I said I think he thought they were going to run into each other and got ready for it.

I don't think it was a stupid I'll just hit him for the hell of it.

The fragile part we have no idea about at all. They have come back when down all tournament long so not sure what you are basing that on.
fragile was probably the wrong word...more boneheaded or prone to mistakes.

Thanks. Tried a couple that sent the anti-virus mental so on a work computer I (wisely I think) scrapped that plan! Guess TSN radio it is for the third.

Hopefully that goal against works as a wake up call and the US pot on here on the PP.
They watched the game tapes and then after that 1st period they truly came to believe they could walk all over Canada. Canada picked it up in the 2nd and showed that they can play; the US has to now step it back up after falling into a lull.

If the Americans are up by 3 or 4 goals the Canadians would have already fallen apart. You're saying that if the Canadians were down by 3 or 4 they would lose by 8? Weird post.

Fragile is a pretty terrible word to use for this Canadian team. They're a lot of things, but fragile is not one of them.

Petan is going to be a beauty but you can only have so many smaller guys in your system. I think I'm comfortable with how our draft went in that context.

Hardly, Hartman was just skating behind the net. The puck was already moving up the ice. It was a stupid and unnecessary play.

Canada really picked it up in the second half of that period. Fundamental hard work leading to chances and the goal, yet they still insist on making some silly plays. McDavid is absolutely fired up out there, really good to see him rebound today after a so-so tourny thus far. Defense looks far more stable with Reinhart slotting into the top 4. Petan and Mantha clutch again.

Going to be an awesome third period.

Yeah, 5'9 skill guy doesn't really fit Burke's player mould.

Say it's tied with a minute and a half yet, does Canada pull Fucale to attempt to win in regulation? Nothing to lose at that point... guaranteed 2nd place no matter the result today, but a win in regulation means first in the pool...

Definitely. The US were in a similar situation in 2012, pulled the goalie, and Canada scored to win 3-2.
