Ya they are basically out unless they the become the Hawks or Sharks all of a sudden.

The Oilers got 43 shots? Were the guys that keep track of shots drunk?

I guess when there's nowhere to go but up, that sort of makes sense. Can't really get too much worse.

The Oilers are the perfect example of why you don't cheer for losses. What a horrible hockey team.

Trouble is, do you put Boyd Gordon out there 23 minutes a game? RNH needs to learn defence, and they have a string of failed development to blame for that

Eakins puts a rusty Gagner with the worst defensive player in the league in Yakupov... it's like they're actually trying for 1st overall.

15 of those shots were courtesy of Ryan Jones (8) and Ales Hemsky (7)

There is a chance they don't get anymore points.

The guys on CHED 630 say the Oilers are tired and that the team should get 48 hours off.

Kessel's arms will be tired from throwing them in the air so much tonight.

But the Oilers are one of the most physical teams, so the Leafs will be banged up... apparently.

I'm always reminded of this when I think of the Oilers rebuild.

Commercial on 630 CHED just now

"How much do you love the Oilers? Would you drive to hell and back to see them play?"

Not hard to do when the team is based out of there.

You are exactly right. Losing became so accepted, almost promoted that they cannot get it out of their DNA now. I truly believe that there is something to this theory.

Somebody phrased our Flames situation perfectly on CP last week. They referred to it as "rebuilding with dignity." I like that.
